| What we do |
Slingshot offers a pay-as-you-go Internet service that charges customers only for the time they use, involving no long-term commitments or recurring charges. If you have ever used a prepaid phone card or cell phone, the Slingshot service works in much the same way. Pricing plans start at under a penny per minute. |

Customers can pick up a free, easy-to-use installation CD-ROM and purchase access minutes at major retailers. Slingshot users never have to provide credit card numbers or other sensitive personal information, so privacy is never compromised. However, as an added convenience they may purchase access minutes via credit card on our Web site. |

Internet technology should be available to people of all cultural and economic backgrounds. There is a large population that has hesitated to get online because of objections to the way services are typically provided, but Slingshot lets customers define the way they want to use the Internet by offering flexible plans that protect privacy and require no commitment. |
